Where can I find the Sheriff’s Office or Detention Center?

 

The Sheriff’s Office is located on the bottom level of the Rabun County Courthouse. The courthouse is located in Clayton, Georgia off of Highway 76 West (West Savannah Street).

The Detention Center is located at 175 Boen Creek Road. Directions to the Detention Center are the following:

Traveling north on Ga. 15 (Hwy 441) from Tallulah Falls toward Clayton - Turn right on East Boggs Mtn. Road off of Ga. 15 (Hwy 441). East Boggs Mtn. Road is located just south of Rabun County High/Middle School. From East Boggs Mtn. Road, turn right on Longview Drive. From Longview Drive, turn right on Boen Creek Road. The Detention Center is located on the left.

Traveling south on Ga. 15 (Hwy 441) from Clayton toward Tallulah Falls - Turn left on East Boggs Mtn. Road off of Ga. 15 (Hwy 441). East Boggs Mtn. Road is located just south of Rabun County High/Middle School. From East Boggs Mtn. Road, turn right on Longview Drive. From Longview Drive, turn right on Boen Creek Road. The Detention Center is located on the left.

How can I request or receive a copy of a report?

Copies of reports may be obtained by any of the following ways:

Contacting Records by telephone to verify a report is ready. The number is (706) 782-3612.

Mail a request for a copy of a report. The address is:

Come to the Sheriff's Office, go to Records and request a copy of a report. 

Reminder!!!

Records office is open Monday - Friday with the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Copies of reports will not be faxed.
