Responding to Prison Rape (Part 2)

S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics) Training

Dates: August 16 - 20 2010

This basic, but intense course is designed for the officer who has little or no experience as a SWAT operator.

The course is open to the individual officer as well as departments looking to form a team.

The curriculum will cover:

• SWAT history

• Intelligence Gathering

• Tactical Weapon Skills

• Tactical Planning

• Cover and Concealment/Woodland Ops

• Team Building Skills

• Team Movement

• Covert and Dynamic Entry

• Less Lethal Diversionary Devices

• Legal Issues

Students will be given a physical assessment on the first day of class. This will be a pass/fail assessment.

Students must score 90% or higher on the Georgia Double Action Course of Fire on the first day.

Course Cost: $200.00 per student
