This class is required training by GCIC for anyone who has access to information from the GCIC terminal. Retraining is required every three (3) years.

Taser Certification & Recertification

Location: Rabun County Detention Center Training Room

Time: 0900 hrs - 1600 hrs

This class is for certification and recertification with the M-26 and X-26 Taser.

O.C. Pepper Spray Certification

Date: February 17, 2010

Time: 0900 hrs - 1500 hrs

Location: Rabun County Detention Center Training Room

This course is for certification for carry and use of O.C. spray.

1911 Transition Course - Part 2

Date: February 19, 2010

Location: Rabun County Detention Center Training Room

& Firing Range

Time: 0900 hrs - 1500 hrs

This will be the next level on the use of the 1911 and officers must attend to carry the issued weapon.

Traffic Stops

Date: February 24, 2010

Location: Rabun County Detention Center Training Room

Time: 0900 hrs - 1300 hrs

Class will consist of proper use of patrol car and procedures of a traffic stop.
