This class is required training by GCIC for anyone who has access to information from the GCIC terminal. Retraining is required every three (3) years.

Location: Rabun County Detention Center Training Room
Time: 0900 hrs - 1700 hrs
Two day course will be taught by Instructor Murrel Tyson.
***Attendance is required for both days to receive POST credit.***
Law Enforcement Officers Flying Armed
(!!!Notice!!! - If you plan to attend this course, you need to submit your name to Lt. Gerrells no later than August 31, 2010. He needs to submit a class roster to the instructor so certificates can be made.)

Instructor: F.A.M. Jason W. Guest - Federal Air Marshal Service
Training will cover the rules and requirements for law enforcement officers to fly armed on commercial flights.
Defensive Tactics Training
Date & Time: September 16, 2010 (0900 hrs - 1400 hrs)
Location: Rabun County Recreation Department
Contact Lt. Gerrells to pre-register for the class.
This class will cover pressure points and takedowns.
All Officers should wear comfortable clothing and bring bottled water.
